Clarence is a delightful tea room based right outside Windsor Castle.
It is not an English tea room per-se, it combines a brasserie and a tea room together making it a unique and rather quaint establishment.
It does sell scones and a selection of cakes alongside a variety of teas, coffees and other drinks, including alcohol; it also serves light meals not normally associated with English tea rooms, such as pizza and such like. I have taken a photo of their menu (as of date of this posting) and included on this review so you can check it out prior to your visit.
I didn't taste the food, but the tea was good and I did witness other people enjoying their food and the surroundings.
STATUS I can recommend this tea room. Parking is easily available but pricey which you would expect in Windsor.
