Etchingham is a village and civil parish in the Rother District in East Sussex.. The village is approximately twelve miles north-west of Hastings, on the A265, half a mile west of its junction with the A21.
Wow...completely way off the beaten track is this lovely tea room and I do sincerely mean lovely tea room based inside King Johns Garden Nursery. A little gem I must say and talk about peace and quiet...in abundance! See photos.
Lovely old tables and chairs next to a lovely counter and then an area where there is a lovely leather sofa and chairs. Tiled floor, low ceilings and a featured fire place certainly add to this lovely, quaint and unusual tea room.
There are sadly no food or lunch options available except for a small selection of cakes and natural bars to eat. There is a selection of teas of choose from as well as a range of coffees.
I am so very pleased that I discovered this beautiful and unusual tea room set in gardens and a nursery. See photo of the Kings John's Garden map.
I can recommend this tea room...lots of parking, peace and countryside...what a discovery!!!!
