More Tea Vicar?, The Old Vicarage, Canterbury Road, Challock, Kent, TN25 4BJ Tel: 01233 740788 Facebook Page
Just outside Ashford and off the beaten track lays the More Tea Vicar? which adjoins an old vicarage, hence the name of this lovely and ever-expanding English Tea Room.
Run by General Manager, Ruth, it is becoming a hub of the local community. What started out as a one room tiny tea room, has expanded to an extension of the tea room and a lovely outside seating area, which I must confess, I enjoy when I visit on warmer days. Sitting there, eating and drinking tea, talking to the chickens that walk freely, is a delight and time just slips by.
English tea room food, alongside teas and coffees are served (click here to read the menu via pdf file). In addition to this, the tea room becomes a restaurant for special events on some evenings and on Sundays, you can enjoy a Sunday roast, which is tasty and cooked to perfection as both my wife Sandra and I can confirm!
The sandwiches a fantastic and very filling; and I would fail to see anyone complaining of the food served at this tea room.
There is also a yoga studio above the tearoom should anyone fancy it!
STATUS I can recommend More Tea Vicar? and there is off road ample free car parking onsite.
